Our Team
About Our Team
The Na'atik team consists of a diverse group of superstars working both locally and remotely to support our educational, fundraising, and hospitality needs. Consisting of teachers, tour guides, admins, coordinators, housekeeping, and fundraising and comms personnel, we work together to create the fiesta that is Na’atik!
Our Na’atik teachers, who speak Spanish, Maya and English, are both local and international. We proudly employ Indigenous Maya teachers, some of which were once Na’atik students and beneficiaries of the MY scholarship program.
Our certified English language teachers come from many different parts of the world and collaborate with our local teachers to produce fun and engaging classes to ensure that our students effectively learn.
Our Spanish and Maya Program coordination team are a large reason our programs are successful. They’re bilingual themselves and ready to make your learning experiences smooth, fun, productive and positive.
Our homestay and tour team are the life-blood of our immersion programs. They are the local residents who bring the immersion experience alive by kindly providing accommodation, entertainment and transport.
And for those who are unable to join us locally, our communications and fundraising personnel bring you stories and tales from our town. They bring the Na’atik experience to you.
It is an honor to have so many talented people come together to achieve our mission.
